  • In 2021 she also goes on the “Mi trayectoria” tour, with shows Latin America and the United States.

  • In 2021 her collaboration “Víctimas las dos” with Víctor Manuelle is an absolute success, reaching two million views on YouTube in less than two weeks and becoming a new Billboard #1. That record is also certified gold by the RIIA.

  • In 2020 the release of “Mi propiedad privada” grants La India, according to Billboard magazine, four decades of top 10 songs on the Tropical Airplay chart. The music video also reached a million views in less than a week.

  • In 2018, La India celebrated 30 years as an artist with a series of concerts titled “Trayectoria”, with shows in Puerto Rico, England, Colombia, Peru and the United States.

  • In 2016, India wins her first Latin Grammy for Best Salsa Album for the album she created together with Juan Gabriel.

  • “Intensamente…” also earns La India a nomination to Best Salsa Album of 2016.

  • “Intensamente con canciones de Juan Gabriel” earns a nomination in the Tropical Album category for the second edition of the Latin American Music Awards.

  • She is nominated at the 2016 Premios Lo Nuestro for Female Tropical Artist of the Year.

  • Her song “Dímelo” reaches #1 on Billboard magazine, making her the Puerto Rican with the most Billboard #1’s.

  • She was one of the first to participate in the Latin American Music Awards, where she gave a well-deserved on-stage tribute to Celia Cruz, her artistic godmother.

  • Her album “Intensamente…” holds the top spot of Billboard’s Tropical Chart for four consecutive weeks.

  • Thanks to one of the songs on that compilation, “Ahora que te vas”, India becomes the woman with the most #1’s in the history of Billboard’s Tropical hits chart.

  • In 2015 she teams up with Juan Gabriel to create the album “Intensamente con canciones de Juan Gabriel”.

  • In 2014 she records the hit “Bajo la tormenta”, which reaches #1 on Billboard charts.

  • In 2012 she was chosen to participate in the tribute album to Michael Jackson “UNITY: The Latin Tribute to Michael Jackson”, on which she sang a rendition of “Earth Song” with a latin arrangement.

  • In 2011 she worked with musicians such as Issac Delgado and the Italian DJ Peppe Citarella.

  • In June 2010 she releases the album “Única”, which earns her a nomination to the Latin Grammy’s.

  • Thanks to her hit “Estúpida”, released on iTunes in 2010, La India becomes the female artist with the most #1’s in the history of the tropical hits charts.

  • In 2008, her 2006 album wins in 2 of the 5 categories to which she is nominated at the Latin Music Billboard Awards: Latin Dance Club Play Track of the Year and Best Female Tropical Album.
